Understanding the Process
In this episode, Mark talks about how the bullish sentiment right now are at historic lows for the longest period and we're in the midst of earning season right now. Understanding the process to how decisions are made is important. He also discusses businesses' ability to continue to make a profit and the stock market may be rigged but that part of the system is not. Volatility is what creates the opportunities to continue investing. There are periods when active managers have not done as well as indexes, but the media will tell you active managers are not “good managers”. The greatest path to investing has always been and will always be investing in great businesses and continuing to invest in those businesses over time! Finally, Mark talks about different trends that are currently occurring.
