In this episode, Mark answers a caller's question about which precious metal he'd recommend purchasing now. He warns investors that metals are extremely cyclical and volatile. Gold is the safety factor and copper will do well when there is an increase in housing and infrastructure. Metals tend to do well when there are currency and manufacturing improvements. Mark also discusses a FINRA report about the financial capability in the US in 2016. Financial situations of Americans has improved this year and Americans are finding it easier to save and pay their expenses. He also talks about other improving statistics over the last few years in relation to Americans' savings habits. Finally, he says that investors still have debt and are still trying to manage budget and cash flow, so if they are saving, they need to make sure they're doing it correctly.
